Ephesians 6:12-13

Chuck drew his weapon. He knew that his foe was a formidable one.

This was war.

For his entire lifetime, he was trained as a rebel. His very life served as a rebel for the cause. A rebel trained in all ways to retaliate. A rebel trained to oppose the current government. The very words "Freedom Fighter" printed on his clothes served as an emblem of justice.

Each war he fought was not only a physical war. He knew that for every life saved from slavery, two would enter into misery. Corruption was rampant in the streets. Gang fights would occur in broad daylight. Drug peddlers populated the streets. Prostitution became a daily affair.

Everyone said that Cape Town was the evil town. It simply was populated with crime. The government was 'The Gang'. It was said that out of five people who walked through Cape Town, four of them would die.

He knew the fight that he would enter not only consisted of people from The Gang. Not only those thugs, thieves and traitors. It would also be against their very souls. The demon within.

Chuck clutched on to his weapon tightly. His weapon would be his armour. He was a rebel. A rebel for the cause.

With four other friends clutching only their Bibles, Chuck journeyed into Cape Town, clutching his ultimate weapon; the Bible. If the rumor was true, four of them would die. Only one of them would survive.

But he knew that there were people out there to be saved. He knew he had done everything, and now what he wanted was just to stand.

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”- Ephesians 6:12-13
